New Image Body & Wellness Clinic, PC is the Family Practice of Michele Ritter MD and Barb Kacel MSN, APRN-BC, FNP. The practice is located in Waterford Township in beautiful lakes area of Oakland County, Michigan.

Barb is the primary healthcare provider at New Image Body & Wellness Clinic with Michele working limited hours at the clinic and providing collaborating services for Barb. Dr. Ritter maintains a separate house call practice, serving patients that are homebound in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties.

We at New Image Body & Wellness clinic utilize a unique approach to healthcare by blending traditional and holistic medicines. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Barb is licensed to perform physical exams, order diagnostic lab and radiology tests, and order prescription medications. Barb endeavors to discover the causes of the patient’s health challenges. Barb then prepares a customized and individualized treatment plan for each patient that consists of lifestyle changes, dietary changes, supplements, herbs, vitamins, and medications when necessary.

A unique feature about our practice is that we listen to you and give you time to talk. An hour or more is set aside for your first visit, allowing you plenty of time to discuss your concerns, and ask questions, before being examined. Then Barb invites you to participate in your care by encouraging your input in your plan of care.
